Final installation of the Velveteen Rabbit. I'm probably gonna end up putting up edited versions of all three later, gathering advice from you peeps as well as my professor's.

I was also a little surprised to see how many people have not read the story before... I've always saw it as a classic, but I guess only a select number of COOL kids got to read it. 8-)

It's very magical & stunningly beautiful Janet-chan.
Just wow! I remember reading The Velveteen Rabbit when I was little & seeing a movie version of it on TV when I was little. :hug:

aww ... I think I read that book XD or have it..? by the title I though it was going to be more Reborn fanart ^^; but this is very nice! so sweet :) I like the way you painted it :)

Adorable. I love the romantic feel to it. It just looks like the woman is sucking on the adorably, crying rabbit. Other than that, this is such a beautiful piece. I'm glad I +devwatched you!

I love the velvety hair and colors in this :heart:. The rabbit is definitely in need of many hugs, aahhhh ;3;. Your lineart is really clean, as always, and to be honest, I think the... spirit, I guess? doesn't look like she's kissing him, more like sucking on him somehow.

But really, the background is awesome, the detail on the rope and foliage is amazing, and her HAIR, oh it's gorgeous!

i love this work you've been doing! i believe i've faved each on of these velveteen rabbit series illustrations of yours!!!

i remember actually reading the velveteen rabbit in 2nd grade.... but i just vaguely remember the story. maybe i should go back and read it again...

all i remember, is that it always made me sad.
