Class assignment - We had the choice to illustrate several pieces of literature and I chose the velveteen rabbit. More to come, stay tuned.

i couldn't see the glasses until i looked at the larger image; it looked like the kid was evil and trying to drown something, i couldn't tell. maybe the fact that i'm not wearing my glasses contributed to that :blushes:

MAN OH MAN THE DETAILS. [ded of amazement] The composition works really well and the water ripples and water droplets are so pretty. I don't really have much critique for you, other than perhaps upping the vibrancy of the colors? Iunno, I just feel a children's story should have bright happy colors. X'D Plus the child seems pretty happy in your illustration. :]

That's beautiful! I really loved the detail on the child and the rabbit. The little goldfish was a wonderful touch. The coloring technique is astonishing. I like how the rabbit looks somewhat melancholy. I like the triangular composition!
